RallyGallery.com was set up in 1999 by Mark Sims as a means to show case his images of rallying to a wide audience. The site grew in popularity and rapidly expanded.

In 2000, Mark Welch joined the team and RallyGallery.com formed an alliance with Mark II Motorsport (www.mark2motorsport.com), a rally team competing at a national level in the UK rally scene. With Mark II’s connection RallyGallery soon became involved with various motor clubs and teams and provided a large number of images for competitor, club and media use.

With the advent of digital, RallyGallery.com has evolved and become extremely popular on the internet. The site has become a popular destination for both rally enthusiasts and professionals alike. As such, RallyGallery.com now not only provides images for teams and competitors, it also provides photographs to a number of Motor Clubs (it is the official photographer for Sutton & Cheam Motor Club). As the site became popular, more photographers were taken on to cover events and now RallyGallery utilizes the talents of a number of photographers to capture images from a diverse number of events and rallies.

As the popularity of the site has grown, the two Marks decided to create a company and RallyingOnline Ltd was born.
